Teaching Gratitude

This week this family of four is struggling!! To be honest, this year has been hard and filled with tons if changes. Now that we are coming to the tail end and seeing all the things I am thankful for, I thought this was a golden opportunity to teach the boys about gratitude. So, I just posted a large piece of paper on the refrigerator to track them....to really see them...which seeing is believing right? Well, at least for our little ones. I just ask them daily questions of positive things they did or liked about their days and talk about how those instances are things they should be thankful for. I also do this myself and explain how mine are things I am grateful for. Simple, but a great way to teach our little men gratitude in today's busy, material world!
